Biography
After an undergraduate degree in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science at Instituto Superior Técnico (IST), Lisbon, I completed a PhD in Mathematics at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, supervised by Luchezar L. Avramov.
My postdoctoral positions were held at the University of California, Riverside, and at the University of Sheffield, where my interests broadened to statistics and health research.
In 2022, I joined the University of Manchester as Lecturer in Mathematics of Data Science.
